The Planning Collective is dedicated to making planning a stress-free and – dare we say it – enjoyable process. We take the time to work out exactly what our clients need, and then partner with them to get the job done. Our team is passionate about building relationships and walking alongside customers for the duration of the project.

We undertake a variety of land development (land use and subdivision), coastal, resource consent and policy work. This includes preparing and processing plan changes and variations; structure plan work; rural character and landscape studies; preparing and lodging resource consent applications; presenting evidence for clients at Council hearings and the Environment Court. We can also provide due diligence and site suitability assessments; initial planning advice and assessment to landowners and prospective purchasers.

As a group, we can add value to your development through our knowledge of the Resource Management Act; Local Government Act; National Policy Statements, National Environmental Standards; and local level planning documents including Auckland Unitary Plan; Kaipara District, Whangarei and Far North District Plans.

Our people maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of specialist resource management sub-contractors. Where necessary, project teams can be formed and managed by our company.
